I did this card just for fun and it happened to work for some challenges as well. I colored the image from Meljen with new markers I got the other day and used some really old pattern paper. It's so old I don't know who the manufacturers are.
My daughter needed a birthday card for one of her friends so I came up with this one for her. I used this week's sketch from The Sweet Stop and will also be entering it in the Bling It On card challenge at Totally Gorjuss
I used old DCWV pattern paper, Prima flowers, American Crafts gem brads, Glitz rub-ons, Kelly Panacci stamp, and CTMH ink.
I made this layout for The Paper Variety challenge this week. I used some old Scenic Route paper and a sketch from Nuts About Sketches. These pictures are of my niece and son receiving awards at the assembly back in 2008.
Finally finished a book yesterday! I enjoyed getting to know Olivia a little at a time. She is an interesting, but different protagonist and I liked the change. The setting sounds absolutely amazing! And although I'm not really a dog person, Haviland makes me want a standard poodle for Emma. For a more complete description of the book and to read more reviews go to Goodreads
One of my dear scrapbook friends shared this blog with me - http://www.counterfeitkitchallenge.blogspot.com/ They post a kit from a monthly club and the goal is to create your own kit with the stuff you already have on hand. Here is my first attempt at this for the month of February

I don't send many Valentine cards, but my kids wanted to send one to their grandma and this is what I came up with. I used an old card sketch that I printed off some time ago and I neglected to write where it came from.
Kelly Panacci stamp
I also really need to use up my swap stuff that I've had stashed away. Here's my first layout with MME swap elements for the year. The picture is of Emma and Sara from 2008. I also used a sketch from http://www.thescrappiest.blogspot.com/
I have several pages that I've made at CTMH parties over the years that just don't the pictures put on them, so I've decided to just do it. Here is the first page using some of their fall paper from last year and pictures from October 2008.
I worked hard on cards today. This is the third one I finished. It's for my 17-year-old cousin whose birthday is in a couple of weeks. I wanted to give it a stylish and girlish look. I liked how it turned it. I used a sketch but threw away the paper before writing down where I got it from.
MAMBI paper (stash)
CTMH stamp and ink
Used the same stash as the last card - Crate paper's Katlin collection. I added a little Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I stamped my polka dot background with a stamp and ink from CTMH. I also used a sketch, but now can't figure out where I got it...LOL
I needed a birthday card for my grandma's 80th birthday next week. Her favorite color is purple, so this is what I came up with. I added lots of bling and embellishments because I wanted it to be super special for her. Plus I used some stuff from my stash!!!
Paper - Paper Pizazz (old!!!)
Flowers - Prima (stash)
Pearls - Kaisercraft (new)
Rhinestone butterfly - Kaisercraft (new)
Fiskars border punch (new)
button and ribbons (stash)
Finally, ten days into 2011, I was able to sit at my scrap table and do a layout. My crafty goals this year is to clean up my scrap space downstairs and use what I have! These papers and stickers are from a kit that I bought on sale at Hobby Lobby. I added the felt border by Queen and Co. The pictures are of my kiddos back in 2008 coloring Easter eggs and decorating cookies. I also used a sketch but was too late to post it.
